Join Phoenix Song & Juli Rees for the Art of Solidarity. In this 4-day workshop, participants will experience the transformational power of expressive arts and body-based practices as we learn new skills and sustainable practices for collective liberation and solidarity-based relationships.
Through movement, drawing, singing, writing, dialogue and reflection, participants explore how identity, unconscious biases, privilege and power influence our relationships and inform our lives and professional practice. The workshop is accessible to people of all abilities. No prior experience with the arts is necessary, as we will draw upon everyone’s innate creativity.
This program is for EXA, Arts, Creative Arts practitioners and students, social justice change agents, social workers, teachers, activists, artists, creatives, and those who want to be in deeper relationship with themselves and others who want to integrate racial justice and anti-oppression intention into their lives and professional practice.
